    • The first step is to power on your Slate Plus. For this connect the provided power adapter to the power port on the back panel of the router.
    • Next, plug the power adapter using the converter (if required) into a power socket. Switch on the power button. Move forward when the LED light on the front panel turns solid blue.
    • Now, you need a smart device for the further GL A1300 Setup process. You can pick any device like your cellphone, computer, laptop or even your tablets and iPads.
    • Further, connect your device to the Slate Plus using the ethernet cable or through wifi.
    • Plug in one end of the ethernet cable into the GL A1300’s LAN port and the other end of it into your device.
    • To connect wirelessly, turn on your wifi and connect to the default SSID. It is something like GL A1300-XXX. Enter the default password “goodlife” and tap on Connect.

    Configuration Steps

    For completing the GL A1300 Setup the next step is configuration. For configuration, on the connected device open any internet browser like Google Chrome, Edge or Safari. In the URL bar type default IP address which is http://192.168.8.1 and tap Enter. Next select the language that you are comfortable in and tap Next. Further, create a strong and unique admin password and click on “Submit”. Lastly, go to the Internet Section on the side panel and select between different options for connecting to the internet. Select the desired option and simply follow the on-screen instructions for completing the GL A1300 Setup successfully. A solid white light on the front panel is the indication of a successful setup.

    Steps To Reset Firmware

    In case of malfunction you can reset the router to its factory default settings. There are two methods for resetting the firmware.
    • First open the admin panel of the router and from the left bar select SYSTEM. Further tap on Reset Firmware. As you tap on Reset Firmware, on your screen a note appears stating that all your current settings, applications and data will be lost. If you are okay with it then tap on “Delete All And Reboot”. It will take three minutes to complete the reset process and meanwhile do not switch off the router as it can create a problem.
    • In case you aren’t able to reset through the web panel then simply press and hold the reset button on the GL A1300 router for about 8 to 10 seconds or until the LED light turns off completely. After that release the reset button and redo the setup and configuration process from scratch.
