    • During the initial setup, place the beacon, nearby to the host router.
    • As the eero beacon setup completes, place the extender in a central location. Central location means halfway from the router and to the problematic area.

    Installation Guide

    For connecting eero beacon to the electrical outlet you do not need any power adapter, as it is a wall-plug extender. Just push it into a wall outlet and turn it on. Don’t hop on to the installation steps, until the beacon turns on properly.

    Download The eero App

    As for the eero beacon to work, you need access to the eero network. So make sure your smart device is using the eero wifi network. Now download the eero app if you don’t already have one.

    Login Into Your eero Account

    You can easily login into your eero account by filling the Amazon account information. But in case you want to create a new eero account to set up eero beacon then fill the phone number and email id. Now you’ll receive a verification code, fill it up and login into the app.

    Follow The App Instructions

    Now from the corner, tap on the plus sign. Thereafter click on the add a new eero device. The app prompts you to plug in the beacon. Do so and tap on the forward sign. The eero app asks if the extender is in an open space. If yes, again click on the forward arrow. The eero app starts the detection. As it detects, on the top of the beacon, you’ll see a solid blue light. After that, select the location and the eero beacon setup completes. Moreover the LED light will turn from solid blue to solid white once the connection is successful.

    Connecting eero beacon to the eero network is extremely easy and quick. Now as the setup is all done, pick your device and reconnect it to the eero network. To test the network, move to the problematic area. Now start performing any online activity. If you do not face any issue like that of dead zone or lag and bufferings then the setup is perfect. But if you are facing the issue, first relocate the beacon to another location. Move it closer to the problematic area and then retry.
