Beryl AX Setup Guide: Quick And Easy
Before we begin with the GL MT3000 Setup procedure, let’s first unbox the package and collect the necessary equipment. So as you unpack you get following components:
- One Beryl AX (GL MT3000) Router
- One Power Adapter With Converter.
- One Ethernet Cable
- One Quick User Guide
- And lastly, a thank you card and a warranty card.
Setup Steps:
- Firstly, power on the Beryl AX router with the help of a provided power adapter.
- To power on, plug one side of the adapter into the power port of the router and then plug in the adapter into the power socket. Turn it on.
- Next, for wired connection to the router attach the ethernet cable to the LAN port of the router. Attach the other end of the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port of your smart device.
- For wireless connection, connect through wifi. For this go to the wifi settings and connect to the default SSID by entering the “goodlife” as a password. Alternatively you can scan the QR code which you can easily find on the bottom of your Beryl AX.
- For the further GL MT3000 Setup now you need an internet browser. So on the connected device open any internet browser. Go to the address bar and type the default IP address which is http://192.168.8.1.
- Further, choose the language, tap on Next. Now enter the admin password, confirm it and turn on “Prevent Weak Password” and then tap “Submit”.
- Finally on the admin panel connect to the Internet from the side bar. You get various options, select the one as per your need and simply follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup.
LED Indicators
The smart LED indicators help you in understanding the working of your router easily. So on the front panel you get one LED light. If the light is solid blue it depicts system boot up. If the light is flashing blue then the router is searching for the network. Lastly if it is solid white then it is a clear sign that your router is functioning properly.
