- Click and connect to the extender wifi network NETGEAR_EXT.
- Now launch any web browser preferably with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
- Enter the web or IP address in the address field of the browser.
- The New Extender Setup page will display.
- Now, click the New Extender Setup button.
- If you are accessing the page for the first time, the New Account Page will show up.
- Enter the needed information and click on the Next Button.
- Now, select the network you want to extend then click on Continue.
- In the Password field, enter the password of your existing router. Also, click on the Next button.
- Set the Network Name also called SSID and password for the new extender device.
- Go to the wifi settings of your computer and click on the Search button.
- Connect to the extended wifi network by using the password you just created.
- Make sure the connection between the computer and the extender is successful before clicking on the Continue button.
- A Registration interface will show up. Enter the information and click on Done.
